This week in Sydney, Australia I am speaking as an Educator at EQUITANA Asia Pacific 2011.
For those of you unable to make the trip across to Sydney I am happy to announce that I will also be bringing a summary of my EQUITANA presentation to EQUIDAYS New Zealand 2011 at Mystery Creek, Hamilton.
EQUIDAYS is an all-encompassing equine event that focuses on all aspects of the equine industry, business and recreation. There will be an exhibition of all equipment, suppliers and elements of the equine world, demonstrations from each of the equine disciplines, competitions, clinics and training.
I will be speaking in the ANZ Health Hall on Saturday November 19 at 1:00 pm, and again on Sunday November 20 at 11:45 am.
Traditional sports psychology deals only with the conscious mind. My method employs Hypnotherapy and the structuring of correctly worded suggestions which are given to the subconscious mind to effect immediate, positive, and long lasting change. I explain the difference, and why and how Hypnotherapy helps riders. My subject is quite unique and I have many happy clients in New Zealand and around the world including beginners through to international riders and my presentation includes something to interest everyone.
Most riders spend the majority of their time training on the physical skills and forget the vital role their thought processes play. My presentation demonstrates how the rider affects the performance of the horse, and how nerves and lack of confidence affect our riding.
I explain some of the reasons for this and how a rider can become more confident, focused, and effective.
I look forward to seeing you there!
